In my area, there is a lake called Millstone Lake.
It features an area that looks like a slot canyon. You'd think it was created millions of year ago. In reality, a flash flood about 10 years ago created it in 24 hours by moving all the sediment out from the rocks under the surface.
I made a video of the area above so that you can see it. It's on public land.
Before the flash flood, it was not exposed rock.
